It's a Quokka

The quokka is one of Australia's most beloved native animals, perhaps even the most beloved marsupial. They have a natural smile, thanks to their facial muscles, and they are notoriously photogenic.

FYI, national Quokka day is on the 15th of September.

This illustration was inspired by the old 'Dinosaurs!' magazine of the 1990s. Each issue came with cool 3D glasses, so you could see the dinosaur illustrations leaping off the centrefold.
